New Blanket

Wow! It has been forever since I have posted. What a bad girl I have been! I have just spent FOREVER trying to get this picture of the yarn sent to the blog. What a pain!!!!! Mar told me of a new easier way to send pictures but of course I had trouble and wound up sending the old way. Now you also see a new color and a new name. However much I like mynah birds and crows just wasn't pleased with the name considering anyone who looks at this blog is related to knitting so hence the new name. Now, back to the blanket, I hope you can see the colors cause they are just beautiful. The yarn is a manos del uruguay. A handcrafted kettle dyed pure wool. YUMMMMMM Got it from jen at knit nite. They will be separate squares which will be sewed together when finished. I am planning of trying different stiches for different squares. I need to learn some new stiches so hopefully this will work out.

A little note to the one who had me for sp6, I have lost your e-mail. Please send again. I wanted to thank you for the lovely ornament you sent me for christmas!!!! The saying on it was perfect to start the new year! :)
